Using this website
mediamailsrl.com is run by Mediamail SRL. You're welcome to read, link to and share the content. Please don't copy the design, code, text or images to pass them off as your own, and don't try to break, overload or misuse the site or its contact form.
The case studies on the site are concept projects about fictional businesses, made to show our approach. They are clearly labelled as such. We try to keep everything on the site accurate, but it's general information, not a binding offer.
Proposals and prices
Before any work starts, we send a written proposal with the scope, timeline and a fixed price. It becomes a contract when you accept it in writing (email is fine) and pay the first instalment. Proposals are valid for 30 days. Prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.
Payment
- Websites and redesigns: usually 40% to start, 40% when the design is approved, 20% at launch.
- Automation projects: usually 50% to start and 50% when the workflow goes live.
- Care plans: billed monthly or yearly in advance.
Invoices are due within 14 days. If an invoice is more than 30 days late, we may pause work until it's settled, after letting you know.
What you provide
Projects go well when content and feedback arrive on time. You agree to give us the materials listed in the proposal (texts, images, logins and so on) and to reply to review requests within a reasonable time. You confirm you have the rights to anything you send us, and that it doesn't break anyone else's rights or the law.
If a project is on hold for more than 60 days because we're waiting on you, we may invoice the work completed so far and schedule the rest when you're ready.
Who owns what
Once a project is paid in full, you own the final website or workflow we built for you: the design, the code written specifically for you, and all your content. Your domain, hosting and software accounts are registered in your name or transferred to you.
Third-party pieces such as themes, plugins, fonts, stock photos and software subscriptions stay under their own licences. We'll tell you which ones are used and what they cost. We keep the right to reuse general know-how and non-client-specific code, and to mention the project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Changes and extra work
Each proposal includes a set number of revision rounds. Requests outside the agreed scope are welcome. We'll quote them separately, and the price only changes after you agree in writing.
Launch and warranty
For 30 days after launch, we fix any bugs in our work at no cost. After that, fixes and changes are covered by a care plan or quoted separately. The warranty doesn't cover problems caused by changes made by others, third-party services, or hosting we don't manage.
Care plans
Monthly care plans renew automatically and can be cancelled by either side with 30 days' notice. When a plan ends, we hand over everything needed to move the site elsewhere, including backups and access.
Liability
We work carefully and test what we build, but no website or automation can be guaranteed to be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Ending a project
Either of us can end a project in writing if the other seriously breaches these terms and doesn't fix it within 14 days. If a project ends early, you pay for the work done up to that point, and we hand over everything completed so far.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the country where Mediamail SRL is registered. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first at contact@mediamailsrl.com, as most problems are solved with a phone call. If you're a consumer in the EU, you keep the rights given to you by the law of your country of residence.
